Two NP wireless network connections are available on campus – NPWireless and NPWirelessx for staff and students to gain access to the campus IT services and network resources. Wireless@SG hotspots are also available on campus.
Note:
NPConnect and NPConnectx were decommissioned on 26 Feb 2013. If you had used NPConnect and NPConnectx, please update the wireless network connection profiles in your computer.
How to connect to
NPWireless?
Click on the Wireless Connection Icon , select
NPWireless and click
Connect.
Launch a web browser and log in using your Username and Password.
After the web authentication and successful login, you could surf the internet and access the network resources. You will be required to enter your username and password for authentication whenever you access the wireless network using NPWireless.
NPWirelessx provides you a seamless access to the wireless network on campus. Once you have successfully setup your notebook to connect to NPWirelessx, you will
not be prompted for authentication unless you have changed your NPNet password.
