Upgrade of student email

Your Connect Mail account will be upgraded from Live@edu to Microsoft Office 365 platform on 13 June 2013.

After the Upgrade

1. Your mailbox size will be increased from 10GB to 25GB.
   
   
2. You will have two separate login accounts
   - Office 365 account: for accessing emails and other Office features
   - Personal Microsoft account: for accessing Skydrive content, MSN and other Microsoft services
   
   
3. There will be no change of username and password for Office 365 and Personal Microsoft account.
   
   If you change your password for Student Portal/MeL after the upgrade, your password for the Connect Mail (Office 365 account) will also be updated.  However, your password for Skydrive (Personal Microsoft Account) will not be changed.
   
   
4. All the current mails, contacts and rules will be migrated to Office 365.
   Access your email using the Connect Mail link on Student Portal page.
   
   
5. Your current data stored in Skydrive can be accessed from Personal
   Microsoft account.

Check if your browser meet the requirements and upgrade it if necessary.

Use your NP student email account

All NP students are given a Connect Mail account. Use this email account to communicate with your lecturers and departments.

When you use Connect Mail to make an enquiry, it also helps to shorten the verification process.

Important messages from your lecturers and schools are sent to your Connect Mail account.

NP Acceptable Use Policy

As the IT Resources in NP facilitates teaching, learning, administration and other functions of the Polytechnic, it is important that staff and students use the resources in an ethical and responsible manner.

Staff and students should familiarise themselves with the policies and guidelines governing the fair and responsible use of NP's IT resources which includes internet access, usage and social networking through NP's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) at

Have you registered your mobile number in
NPal Student Self-Service?

Students are reminded to register or update your mobile number in the NPal Student system https://npalstudent.np.edu.sg
The registered Mobile Number will be used for 2-way SMS requests such as e.g. class timetable, NAPFA test result or 1-way SMS notifications e.g. Exam Results notifications.
