New Wireless Network on Campus
A new wireless connection is now available on Campus. You will be able to detect NPWireless, in addition to NPConnect and NPConnectx. From 19 Jan 2013 onwards, you will also be able to detect NPWirelessx.
The new wireless connections, NPWireless and NPWirelessx, are compatible with Windows 8 and support most Andriod devices. All 4 wireless connections will run concurrently until NPConnect and NPConnectx are decommissioned in mid Feb 2013.
You are encouraged to use NPWireless and NPWirelessx as soon as possible.
How to connect to NPWireless / NPWirelessx?
Connecting to NPWireless is similar to NPConnect. You will have to launch a web browser to login to the wireless network to surf the internet and to access any network resources.
For the IT Savvy, you are welcome to join our pilot of NPWirelessx between now and the official launch and broadcast of the NPWirelessx. You need to set the security to "WPA2 Enterprise" and set "PEAP (MSCHAPv2)" as authentication method. You may follow the steps in this configuration guide >>
