eMail Safety Tips
Phishing and malware attacks via email are getting more rampant and creative these days.
Legitimate business email address could be easily be mimicked to trick you to give your account credentials or entice you to click on URL links and install malicious program into their computer.
Below are some email safety tips that you can take note of while going through your emails: -
DO NOT open email attachments from unfamiliar sources.

DO NOT click on the URL link(s) stated in the email from unfamiliar sources.

DO NOT click "Yes" on popup messages. Please click “No” or close the popup if you are unsure about the message.

SCAN email attachments with anti-malware program such as Windows Defender or Symantec Anti-Virus before opening the files.
Advisory on NRIC use by PDPC The
Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) had released an advisory to tighten the indiscriminate collection and use NRIC on 8 Nov 2017. It will soon be against the law for organisations to use customers’ NRIC numbers to track product interest registration, manage membership accounts and conduct lucky draws etc. Organisations will have up to 12 months to comply from this release. Students are advised not to collect NRIC numbers for events or activities unless absolutely necessary.
